The Belgium Design Council (BDC), has the pleasure of partnering with the International Interior Design Exhibition (IIDE), which comes to the heart of Europe in November of this year. With launch taking place in Brussels with a Gala Evening on the 15th November, the Preview Day on the 16th of November between 11am – 7pm. The Public Opening Days between the 17- 25th of November at the Hotel de Laposte, Tour & Taxis.

Showcasing leading feature rooms designed by 10 upcoming and established Belgian and international Designers. Each of these Designers, are given the opportunity to design a room with their preferred suppliers and artisans. Bringing the concept of envisioning interior design with the craftsmanship at the core. The products on show being on sale, along with the opportunity to talk personally to the Designers, creating an informal and stylish atmosphere.

The 4 day exhibition, will bring Interior Design to the forefront, for the international audience of industry professional, investors and developers who appreciate that ‘design matters’. Linking organically to our collaboration for the event. Rozina Spinnoy of the BDC, will be talking about and emphasising why ‘Design Matters/Design Value’. Emphasising the important role Designer’s can offer in our ever changing society, from being more sustainable to creating more cross-sector collaborations. Collectively the Design industry and related sectors with their expertise and creative thinking can evolve this industry together. These talks will take place on the Preview Day at 11.30am and also during the Gala Evening.

Fleur Rossdale is the Founder of the IIDE and is excited about the launch here in Brussels. Experienced in organising events and as a professional Interior Designer, from the UK and
based in Brussels for the last 3 years. Fleur organised the British Interior Design Exhibition (BIDE) in London in the 1980’s and 1990’s, with showcasing the design industry and hosting 30,000 international visitors.
